A founding member of the Class Law Firm and currently a Partner Attorney with the ClassHankyul who mainly handles various administrative trials and administrative litigation regarding licensing/sanctions/labor disputes, disputes regarding conflicts/contracts/materials liability related to construction/real estate such as construct price, apartment defect litigation, etc., litigation regarding standard civil conflicts, family law litigation such as divorce and asset distribution, claims for legal reserve of inheritance, distribution of inherited assets, etc., and litigation on inheritance related conflicts, criminal cases involving accusations/indictment and investigation/trial, and tax/constitutional litigation.
While serving as a judge, Attorney Hong served as the presiding judge or chief judge for the Seoul High Court’s Civil and Administrative Division, the Civil, Criminal and Family Divisions of the various Seoul District Courts, the Civil Affairs Division, the Criminal Division, the Family Division, the Compensation Division, etc., of district courts in various regions. Attorney Hong also served as the Chair of the government’s Central Administrative Appeals Committee (Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission) for three years, and also served as the Chair of the regional Election Management Committees, member of the Blue House Information Disclosure Deliberation Committee, legal counsel for KT&G Co., Ltd. and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, an outside director of the Incheon Airport Corporation and large corporations (Hanwha), a Special Investigation Committee on Humidifier Disinfectants and the Sewol Ferry Disaster, a Legal Advisor for the Small and Medium Business Administration Support Team, a member of the internal whistleblowers’ rescue committee of the Public Prosecutors’ Office, a professor at universities and law schools, etc., and is currently engaged in various lawsuits and consultations that are related to lawsuits and disputes through various experiences. In addition, Attorney Hong completed the top industrial strategy course at Seoul National University College of Engineering, the top information and communications course at the Korea University Graduate School of Computer Science and Technology, and published a paper on the Improper Solicitation Act (the so-called Yeong-ran Kim Law).
