Byungyong Ahn is in overall control of providing legal advice related to financial affairs and corporate affairs for financial companies and enterprises.
Byungyong Ahn provides legal advice and conducts litigation related to corporate governance, compliance, management right disputes, loan products, financial investment products, and project/structured financial transactions for financial institutions and enterprises which are his major clients.
In light of history, he provided advice and conducted cases related to corporate restructuring, rehabilitation, bankruptcy, inter-company M&A, asset-backed securitization, and sale of NPLs, which were activated after the IMF bailout.
In addition, with the introduction of diverse and new financial systems, he has provided advice and conducted several cases related to real estate PF based on structured finance, various project finance, acquisition of companies, investment finance, and asset-backed securitization.
In relation to the administration of financial supervision, Byungyong Ahn participated in deliberation committees related to inspection and sanction, or conducted advisory work for the Financial Supervisory Service.
