Yeongchan Nam is a managing partner of ClassHankyul, and his career includes time as a judge, corporate office worker, and attorney.
Initially hired as a judge with the Seoul Civil District Court and served 18 years as a judge with the Seoul High Court Criminal Investigation Division, Chief Judge of the Daejeon District Court, and 2 terms as a Researcher with the Supreme Court. Afterwards, Attorney Nam managed corporate legal risks as the Chief Compliance Officer of the SK Group and performed ESG activities as the chairman of the Corporate Ethics Officers Association of the Federation of Korean Industries, and has worked as an attorney since 2014.
Yeongchan Nam is responsible for corporate and financial matters, with a focus on M&As, restructuring and rehabilitation, venture businesses, raising investment, compliance, supporting new technology businesses with regulatory problems, etc., corporate criminal cases, etc. In addition, Attorney Nam engages in society building activities such as holding the “Korea-China-Japan East Asia Forum”, etc., as the chair of the Korea Volunteer Forum.
