Overview
He is an information expert who has spent over 33 years at Korea's top intelligence agency, responsible for collecting, analyzing, and evaluating information in the economic and social fields both domestically and internationally. He has held various positions, including Director of Foreign Affairs and Security at the Presidential Committee on Northeast Asia Era, spokesperson for affiliated agencies, head of the National Industrial Security Center overseeing industrial espionage investigations, and regional director for Ulsan and northern Gyeonggi Province. Since retiring from public service in July 2024, he has been serving as an adjunct professor in the Department of Public Administration at Dankook University.
