Wookeun Lee is a Senior Legal Counsel of ClassHankyul, and he mainly handles civil/criminal, administrative, patent, and corporate law matters.

Attorney Lee was formerly the head of the Seoul Central District Court (and head of the Seoul Administrative Court), head of the Incheon District Court, head of Chuncheon District Court, Senior Chief Judge of the Seoul High Court, Senior Professor of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Researcher with the Supreme Court, and Litigation Officer of the Office of Court Administration. After retiring as a judge, Attorney Lee served as a Representative Attorney of the Han Seung Law Firm and the Chungjeong Law Firm. Attorney Lee also served as the Chair of the National Assembly Ethics Committee, Central Land Tribunal, Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, Private School Dispute Mediation Committee, and Seoul Metropolitan Election Management Committee, as well as being a member of the Press Arbitration Committee, a director of the Seoul Arts Center, an auditor of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, a director of the Korea Classical Translation Institute, and a columnist for JoongAng Ilbo and Gukdong Broadcasting. Attorney Lee is currently a professor at Sookmyung Women’s University, a director of the Ewha School, a columnist with the LA Chosun Ilbo, Chair of the Human Rights Commission of the International PEN Club Korea Headquarters, Chair of Moon Human Rights Advocacy Committee of the Korea Writers Association, and an honorary director of the Seoul National Symphony Orchestra.
