The news of the merger of Hankyul and Class and their opening of a consolidated office has been published in the cover story of Legal Times’ September volume.
Hankyul and Class signed an MOU in early 2023 and officially announced a plan for merger. The two merged firms, under the new name “ClassHankyul”, opened a consolidated office in Kyobo Building at Gwanghwamun in early August and started operations. Now with approximately 140 attorneys on its staff, ClassHankyul counts itself among the top ten law firms in the country in terms of number of lawyers, with much synergy anticipated from the merger of Hankyul, a leader in corporate practice, and Class, a powerful name in litigation.
In its cover story, Legal Times sheds light on the meaning of the merger and the anticipated synergy.
